- Assist with all phases of pharmacy services. Work with patients, providers, and clinics.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and messages from physicians in a timely and professional manner.
- Identify potential areas for improvement including streamlining processes or revisions to improve patient and providers satisfaction.
- Participate in departmental meetings, contributing ideas or feedback.
- Process prescriptions using various computers software.
- Ability to learn new innovative, specialty compounds and nutraceutical products.
- Monitor storage and inventory of medications and supplies in the department.
- Leverage relationships with vendors to control cost.
- Coordinate functions with other departments (Retail, Compounding, Shipping, Clinics) to ensure excellent customer service.
- Undertake administrative tasks (e.g., record-keeping, billing, invoicing) as assigned.
- Ability to function well in a team or independently with minimum supervision.
- Willingness to be a team player and promote a positive team environment.
- The Pharmacy Technician must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with EHR systems/pharmacy software (Liberty and Life File preferred)
- Ability to manage high volumes of data entry and phone calls.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, shift between tasks and roles as needed, and be comfortable in a dynamic work environment.
- Demonstrate leadership skills and ability to collaborate effectively across different departments.
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral
- Experience in training or mentoring staff, managing workflow, or coordinating across departments.
- Ability to learn new systems quickly, troubleshoot issues, and possess analytical skills.
- Typing and computer usage throughout the day.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks from multiple sources.
- Ability to grasp concepts and re-apply that information in similar situations.
- Interacts politely and effectively with all colleagues and customers.
- Must have good attendance and be consistently punctual.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience working as a Lead Pharmacy Technician or similar (Preferred)
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Understands and performs pharmaceutical calculations.
- Ability to cope with varied levels of workload and multiple tasks.
- Hold a FL Pharmacy Technician license.
