Job Summary
The Mileage Truck Driver is responsible for driving a pre-planned regional route to deliver freight to internal and external customers. This role requires the ability to read maps, plan trips, and conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on equipment.
This position involves securing freight to a flatbed trailer with chains, binders, and straps. No tarping is required. The driver must also complete driver's paperwork, schedule maintenance of equipment with the shop, and inspect motor vehicles for any malfunctions.
This opportunity is ideal for individuals with a valid Class A CDL License and at least 2 years of recent OTR verifiable tractor trailer experience (flatbed preferred). The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to climb onto and down from the trailer.
