Job Responsibilities
The Mileage Truck Driver will perform the following duties:
* Drive a pre-planned regional route to deliver freight to internal and external customers
* Read maps and plan trips to ensure efficient delivery
* Secure freight to flatbed trailers using chains, binders, and straps
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on equipment
* Complete driver's paperwork, including logs, trip reports, and DVIRs
* Schedule maintenance of equipment with the shop
* Inspect motor vehicles for any malfunctions
Key qualifications for this role include a valid Class A CDL License, at least 2 years of recent OTR verifiable tractor trailer experience (flatbed preferred), and excellent communication skills.
