Paralegal (Personal Injury)

MUST :
Paralegal (Personal Injury)
3 - 5 years of experience as a paralegal in Virginia
3 – 5 years of Litigation support is absolutely required
3 - 5 years of experience as a paralegal with Personal Injury law is absolutely required
- Working knowledge of court rules and procedures for Virginia Circuit and Federal courts;;
- Excellent communication and strong people skills;
- Ability to work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment;
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; and
Proficient computer and technology skills, including MS OFFICE Suite and case management systems.
DUTIES :
Working directly with our trial attorneys to organize and prepare cases for trial in Virginia state and federal courts.
Communicating with clients and health care providers to gather information and documents necessary to prepare their cases for trial.
Preparation of correspondence, discovery responses, and other court pleadings associated with the litigation and trial process.
Scheduling dates for court hearings, trials, depositions, mediation, etc.
