Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in applied behavior analysis and demonstrate a commitment to improving the lives of individuals with behavioral challenges. The BCBA will work directly with a client at home located in Ozone Park, Queens during after school hours, for 5-12 hours per week.
Duties
- Conduct VBMAPP/ ABLLS/ Vineland 3 assessments to assess the client's skill deficits and determine appropriate interventions.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles and the client's IEP.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure consistency in care and support across environments.
- Provide training and support to caregivers on behavior management techniques.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Condcut functional behavior assessment to assess the client's problem behaviors, develop and implement behavior treatment plans.
- Advocate for individuals with disabilities by promoting positive behavior change and enhancing their quality of life.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in the field.
Experience
- A valid Board Certified Behavior Analyst credential is required.
- Experience as a BCBA providing direct treatment with children at home setting is highly required.
- Knowledge of special education practices and patient care principles is beneficial.
- Familiarity with data collection methods related to behavioral analysis is required.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for effective collaboration with clients and team members.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $110.00 - $140.00 per hour
