Position Details:
Rewind Machine Helper:
- Day Crew: Monday - Friday; 10's; 6A - 4P. (12-hour shifts/OT will be based on production level needs).
JOB SUMMARY
Assist the Operator as needed to ensure production timelines are met. May at times assist the Operator with the set-up of the machine. Has knowledge of all types of product/paper that is run on the machine. Follow all safety procedures, understand all safety equipment and adhere to the company safety policies and procedures. Also maintain the machinery to include general maintenance, cleaning of the machine.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Open rolls and properly stage product for production.
2. Responsible for wrapping finished products and staging finished product to designated area.
3. Must be able to understand and complete the helper checklist.
4. Must be able to competently complete required paperwork.
5. Must be able to read and understand internal (ProCon) job tickets.
6. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow the prescribed safety regulations.
7.May assist the Operator with machine set up.
8.Must be familiar with the basic machine functions in order to meet production deadlines.
9.Assist Operator with general maintenance duties on machines as required.
Other Functions
1. Use of different type of tools and equipment: pallet jacks, measuring devices, various hand tools, auto-stretch wrap machine, and compactors.
2. Must be able to work independently.
3. Daily contact with co-workers, management, third party vendors and customers requiring courtesy, discretion and sound judgment. Understands they are a representative of the employer.
4. Required to perform all other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
