We are hiring dependable, caring employees for positions in our community-based group homes for the Developmentally Disabled. You will be responsible for coordinating and conducting individual and group recreational activities as well as assisting and training individuals in performing daily living functions. NO PRIOR TRAINING OR EXPERIENCE NEEDED! The primary qualification for this job is that you be a responsible, caring and safety-conscious person willing to learn on the job. Hourly pay rate. Extra pay based on your experience. Multiple shifts and locations available.
Direct Support Professional Required Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current, valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Must be willing to undergo a background and drug screening
- Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently
- Must be able to maintain the ability to stretch, push, pull, kneel, reach, twist, walk or stand up to eight hours and able to perform the physical requirements of Safety Care.
