Position Summary
This position will serve as an integral part of the program team and is responsible for overseeing the scheduling, and day-to-day management of staff within the department. This role involves ensuring optimal staffing levels, maintaining employee performance, and providing support to staff members to ensure operational efficiency and high-quality service.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that staffing levels are in line with the company’s needs and budgetary constraints.
- Assist in managing staffing costs by ensuring that shifts are filled efficiently, minimizing overtime, and balancing part-time and full-time staff as needed.
- Monitor absenteeism and manage staffing shortages by adjusting schedules or arranging for temporary staffing.
- Supervise and provide guidance to staff, ensuring that they are meeting performance expectations and following company policies.
- Address performance issues, coach employees, and provide constructive feedback to ensure ongoing improvement.
- Ensure that new hires receive adequate training and orientation.
- Coordinate ongoing staff development programs, workshops, or skill-building sessions to improve employee performance and engagement.
- Collaborate with other departments or teams to ensure staffing needs are aligned with organizational goals and operational requirements.
- Communicate effectively with management to address staffing challenges and resolve any issues quickly.
- Ensures staff performance is reviewed identifying both strengths and areas of concerns using multiple tools including reviews and appropriate disciplinary action in accordance with policy.
- Attends and participates in interdisciplinary team meetings, in-services, and competency-based trainings.
- Understands and adheres to all policies and procedures.
- Reports instances of abuse in accordance with specified guidelines in the abuse policy.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Ability to work cooperatively with peers and supervisors.
- Must be able to read and write American English proficiently.
- Ability to prioritize work for timely completion in a fast-paced virtual environment.
- Ability to shift rapidly from one task to another and work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to follow complex oral and written instructions.
- Ability to understand, implement and monitor various software systems for training, record keeping and employee management.
- Must maintain training competencies as assigned.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Skill in Microsoft Office applications.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources or related field preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of five years of staffing, scheduling, or human resources required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
- Strong MS Office Suite Knowledge
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at a time.

Access is limited to the information needed to provide service and support to individuals in the facility.
