We are searching for a dedicated healthcare professional who is excited to build relationships and help improve patient's lives by working towards a cure for their allergic disease. You will be responsible for running the allergy program in this office. This includes conducting skin allergy tests, creating immunotherapy treatment serum, assisting patients through their course of treatment, educating patients, giving immunotherapy injections, and completing all necessary documentation. This position is for a busy office in Alexandria, VA. Take pride in your work from getting to run your allergy program and know that you are truly improving the quality of patients’ lives! This position is part-time with the possibility of moving to full-time. **Dependability is extremely important for this role.**
Duties:
- Qualify patients for testing and treatment and educate them on the services being offered
- Perform allergy skin tests on patients as directed
- Read, record, and interpret test results
- Educate patients on their test results, allergic disease, and immunotherapy treatment options
- Create immunotherapy treatment serum for patients following formulation prescriptions and established guidelines
- Train patients on immunotherapy treatment and assist them through their course of treatment, ensuring safety and proper documentation throughout
- Perform immunotherapy injections as needed
- Complete all necessary documentation
- Complete regular reports and communication
