We are seeking a Safety Professional to join our team. The specific position available will be onsite at one location in the Kansas City metro area. (50 - 65 hours per week) The Safety Professional will be responsible for training, hazard identification, and risk management. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction safety programs and implementing safety policies in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Implement safety policies and procedures
- Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification
- Develop and deliver safety training programs
- Investigate accidents and incidents, and develop corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Implement emergency response plans
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure safety requirements are met
- Keep up-to-date with industry standards and best practices
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a safety professional in construction.
- Knowledge of federal and state safety regulations
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in mega construction projects is a plus. (Data centers, manufacturing plants, EV, etc..)
- Professional certification in safety (e.g., CHST) is preferred but not required.
