Job Title: Certified Billing & Coding Specialist
Location: Englewood, NJ
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday (9am - 5pm)

As a Certified Billing & Coding Specialist at Progressive Spine & Orthopaedics, you will play a vital role in the accurate coding and timely billing of orthopedic and spine procedures. Your expertise in ASC and specialty coding will ensure that our practice continues to thrive and deliver excellent care to our patients.
What You’ll Do:
- Accurately code for ASC, orthopedic, spine, and podiatry procedures using CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes.
- Review clinical documentation to ensure correct coding for accurate billing.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure coding accuracy for orthopedic, spine, podiatry, and ASC specialties.
- Stay current on coding updates and payer-specific requirements.
- Resolve coding discrepancies and assist the billing department as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- AAPC certification in medical billing and coding (CPC) required.
- At least 2 years of experience coding for orthopedic and spine procedures.
- Experience coding for ASC procedures is preferred.
- Specialized experience in podiatry and/or ASC specialty billing for providers (not hospitals) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and procedures related to orthopaedics and spine.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
