We are looking for a compassionate and organized Patient Care Coordinator to join our growing team in Edison, NJ. Since our inception, Progressive Healthcare Management has expanded exponentially, now with offices throughout New Jersey. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will be at the heart of the patient experience, ensuring each individual receives the care and support they deserve throughout their treatment journey. You will play a crucial role in scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and ensuring a smooth, seamless patient experience from start to finish. Your communication skills and attention to detail will be essential in helping patients navigate their healthcare with confidence and ease.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include greeting and assisting patients with a friendly, professional demeanor, scheduling appointments and procedures, coordinating with providers and other departments as necessary, and verifying insurance and obtaining necessary authorizations. You’ll also follow up with patients post-appointment to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns, while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality in all patient records. Additionally, you will assist in marketing efforts to attract new patients and contribute to the ongoing success of our practice.

What We're Looking For:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (additional education or certification in healthcare administration is a plus).
  • Prior experience in a medical office or customer service role is preferred.
  • Proficiency in EMR systems and basic computer skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in a busy, dynamic environment.
