Job Details: This position is eligible to participate in a quarterly incentive program based on individual and team performance. Provide ongoing support and assistance to the RN Intake Coordinators. Primary responsibilities include Intake and data entry of complete and accurate referral information and providing clerical support to the Intake Department. Responsibilities Obtains patient referral data from referral sources via phone or fax. Perform clerical duties as requested. Documents initial referral information. Identifies and documents patient team assignment. Notifies intake coordinator of pending referrals. Enters new patient information into computer system as needed. Acts as liaison between Intake and referral sources with initial referral information. Assists Intake nurses with faxing and copying and distribution as needed. Assists Intake with phone communication as needed. Assures accurate transfer of patient insurance information to IVC. Performs in accordance with system-wide competencies/behaviors. Performs other duties as assigned. Skills & Abilities Team player Gives high priority to client satisfaction and customer needs. Maintains confidentiality of patient information. Provides customer service to all internal and external customers. Good verbal and written communication skills. Computer literate, with the ability to utilize standard software applications including Windows and MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel) Good organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask Requirements HS diploma or GED required. Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills required. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks. Knowledge of medical terminology required. Proficient computer skills and Microsoft Office Products required. Ability to work an agreed upon part-time schedule.
