Strong Coding
MUST HAVES Experience with intrinsic and extrinsic calibration of cameras, including stereo cameras. Experience optimizing camera image acquisition, including exposure settings and network communication.
Expertise in writing production-grade C/C code for communicating with peripheral sensors like cameras, lidars, etc. Description We are seeking talented camera systems engineers to revolutionize robotic systems and perception technologies. In this role, you'll work on cutting-edge projects spanning camera systems, computer vision systems, robotic control, and motion planning. You'll also have the opportunity to own end-to-end processes of camera testing, including decision explanation, fault detection, monitoring, A/B testing, simulation, and hardware integration. Your work will extend from early-stage prototypes to scalable, wide-deployment systems. As part of an interdisciplinary team, you'll play a vital role in building and optimizing both the hardware and software stacks for next-generation robotics. Responsibilities also include implementing solutions, testing, and monitoring services in robotic fleets to ensure performance excellence.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage deliverables and contribute to advanced camera sensor system design.
Optical: field of view, dynamic range, resolution, video encoding, auto-exposure, image stabilization, auto white balance, and auto-focus.
Mechanical: mounting and environmental fitness.
Software & Systems Networking: camera drivers, and compatibility with AWS Data Stream Processing, video decoding, device health monitoring and remote maintenance.
Camera care and feeding: site requirements, installation, operational metrics, troubleshooting, replacement, and decommissioning.
