Job Description :

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Construction Management or Engineering Intern to join our team for a hands-on learning experience. This internship will provide you with the opportunity to assist with various aspects of construction project management and contract administration, including observing day-to-day construction activities. You will gain valuable exposure to construction processes, project coordination, and field management in a fast-paced, real-world environment. If youre looking for a cushy, coffee-fetching job this summer, this isnt it.

Minimum Qualifications :

• High school graduate or current enrollment in an Engineering, Construction Management or Construction Technologies program.
• Ability to work out of our Ketchikan, AK office. This position is not eligible for remote work.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• A proactive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.
• Three professional or personal references are required at the time of the interview.
• Valid U.S. drivers license and good driving record.

Compensation and Benefits :

The wage range for this position is $20 - $27.50 per regular hour, DOE. Overtime pay eligible at 1.5x regular wage rate for over 40 hours worked per week. Monthly housing will be provided in addition to the use of a company vehicle for work and personal use during employment. The company will reimburse for roundtrip airfare to Ketchikan.
