We're looking for enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our Kitchen Crew and be part of the dynamic team behind our family-owned Hospitality and Entertainment company, Project 2231.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Upholding Sanitation Standards:
- Complete daily prep tasks and ensure Back of House (BOH) operations are ready for success.
- Monitor labels and expiration dates for freshness and quality.
- Maintain cleanliness by sanitizing workstations, equipment, and tools throughout the shift.
Preparing Delicious Food for Guests:
- Follow recipes and quality standards to create exceptional dishes every time.
- Prepare dishes to perfection, maintain stocked stations, and ensure timely food delivery.
- Pizza cooks are responsible for order tickets reaching the Lead/Expo for announcement to the BOH team. Maintain a safe and sanitized work environment, stocking the pizza station with fresh products.
- Fry Cooks prepare all fryer-related products, adhering to product sensitivities and plate presentations, ensuring high-quality prepared foods. Keep the fryers clean through a filtering rotation of fry oil.
Communicating Effectively:
- Collaborate with the BOH Manager and Party Team to fulfill party orders.
- Keep team members informed about ongoing operations to ensure smooth service.
Operating with Excellence:
- Follow Tennessee Department of Health standards for food handling and storage.
- Use proper labeling, rotation, and stocking techniques to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Report significant issues to your supervisor and act promptly to resolve them.
- Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner, following established company policies.
What You Bring to the Team:
- A positive attitude, great personality, and customer-focused mindset.
- Confidence, organization, and enthusiasm for learning new skills.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation (preferred but not required).
- Physical ability to stand for prolonged periods, lift 30 pounds, and complete tasks in a high-energy environment.
Job Type: Part-Time, Entry level position
Evenings, Nights, Weekends, Holidays
Pay Rate: $8.50 - $9 an hour (based on prior experience)
