Project Chesapeake provides quality addiction treatment, behavioral health therapy, and treatment for individuals with a dual diagnosis. We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Front Desk Receptionist to join our team!
Hours: Mon-Thur, 9:00am-5:00pm; Fri, 9:00am-3:00pm

This position provides administrative services to the outpatient behavioral health program (substance use and mental health). The right candidate will be able to work in a fast paced environment, is highly organized, and has superb customer service skills. You will be expected to develop and maintain an atmosphere conducive to teamwork. You will report to the Program Coordinator of the office.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Answer incoming calls from clients/referral sources/courts
- Coordinating scheduling, obtaining insurance (private/state insurance) information, and collecting payments from clients
- Overseeing the processing of client intakes/ pull requested client documents
- Monitor urine drug testing
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) software
Qualifications include:
- Computer literate and experience working in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Sound judgement, professionalism, and compassion for client care.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
- Experience in medical office setting is preferred.
