What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Manager (Inside Sales) position at Project Engineering Consultants (PEC)?
What Your Day Will Look Like:
You will promote the company’s services and capabilities to Inland prospects by growing and maintaining an assigned territory through client management, cold calling, and identifying and leveraging off of sales and market opportunities/trends.
What You'll Do:
- Solicit potential and current clients by phone
- Maintain sales/business development information in CRM software tool
- Prepare and submit proposals to new and existing clients
- Maintain and manage a working sales pipeline
- Conduct presentations as needed
- Meet or exceed monthly performance metrics
- Maintain an awareness of industry trends and competitor activities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Market new business opportunities and maintain business relationships through industry organizations and annual conferences/trade shows
What You'll Need:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor's Degree in Business preferred
- Three years of B2B inside/outside sales experience
- Understanding of marketing and sales principles
- Customer service experience; preferably in maritime, construction, or related industry
- An understanding of safety standards and industry regulations related to commercial diving
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- An understanding of quality management systems and principles
