Job Overview
Project Management & Installation, Inc. is a full-service office furniture installation, relocation, & reconfiguration company located in Sanford, FL. PM&I has an excellent opportunity available for a Warehouse Manager. As a Warehouse Manager the following individual will perform several warehouse duties such as unloading and loading trucks, completing purchase orders, and ensuring the warehouse has the essential equipment it needs to operate. Warehouse Specialist/Forklift Operator also stacks merchandise, ensures the proper function of machinery and pack items methodically. The Warehouse Specialist/Forklift Operator will manage shipping, receiving and new inventory maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse operations, including overseeing receiving and inventory management.
- Loading and unloading deliveries and box trucks
- Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- · Accepting, counting, and confirming delivery of inventory. Inspecting inventory for any damage and faults. Take notes, pictures and communicate issues to relevant parties when needed.
- · Wrap and unwrap pallets
- Staging product, the night before for projects scheduled the next day
- Clean and empty trucks and van at the end of the day (box & cab)
- Maintenance of company vehicles and equipment
- Follow communication procedures and guidelines with customers daily via email and phone
- Monitor safety protocols within the warehouse to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Analyze operational data to identify areas for continuous improvement in warehouse processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of logistics, shipping and receiving processes, and inventory control systems.
- Computer skills required
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Ability to operate basic hand tools
- License to operate a forklift
- Ability to drive a 26’ box truck
- Familiarity with third-party logistics (3PL) operations is preferred.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on process improvement and continuous enhancement of operations.
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles and transportation management practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to twist, pull, push, and stand for lengths of time. Undeterred by heights and adverse climactic conditions
- Completion of drug screening
· Pay: $40,000.00-$45,000.00/year salary depending on experience
· Hours: Monday- Friday 6:00am-3:00pm
· 10 days PTO after 90 days
· $350 Allowance towards Healthcare provided through the Marketplace after 90 days
