Group Home Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Group Manager to oversee operations within our senior care facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in memory care, long-term care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities. This leadership role requires a compassionate individual who is committed to enhancing the quality of life for our residents while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of caregivers and support staff, fostering a positive work environment.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans for residents, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
• Manage daily operations of the facility, including budgeting and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and company policies related to senior care and memory care services.
• Conduct regular assessments of resident needs and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Provide training and development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills in senior care and developmental disabilities.
• Collaborate with families, healthcare professionals, and community resources to ensure comprehensive support for residents.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to resident care, staff performance, and facility operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in senior care management or a related field, with a focus on memory care or long-term care preferred.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
• Knowledge of budgeting processes and financial management within a healthcare setting.
• Experience in developing care plans tailored to individual resident needs.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• Compassionate approach towards caregiving, demonstrating empathy for residents' needs.
• Relevant certifications or licenses in healthcare management or related fields are advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
