Commercial Maintenance Technician
Employment/FLSA Status: Full-time, Regular, Non-Exempt (Hourly)

What You Will Do:
- Consult with our Client Account Managers and Project Managers for support while onsite
- Demonstrate your mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills and ability to read diagrams and schematics
- Communicate with manufacturers as needed to help with diagnoses and parts identification
- Install all parts ordered for the customer in a timely and professional manner and in line with company policy
- Promote and recommend other services provided by Project One to clients when needed
- Produce accurate and timely administrative documents, such as work orders, time reporting, and receipts
- Follow safe work practices and accident prevention procedures
- Maintain a neat and orderly service vehicle, along with accurate parts and tool inventory
- Maintain productivity levels in accordance with company standards
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to frequently kneel, bend, squat, push, pull, reach, and occasionally lift and carry up to 70 lbs.
- Ability to work with moving mechanical parts
- Ability to work on ladders, roofs, and other high places
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- High-school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in any of the following trades:
- Plumbing
- Electrical
- HVAC
- Repair
- Painting
- Flooring
- Lighting/Plumbing repair and replacement
- Drywall
- Tile
- Ability to safely use common power and hand tools
- Basic understanding and ability to use technology to complete job responsibilities such as email, operating platform, and employment platform (with adequate training given when necessary)
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record
- Willingness and ability to be involved with the emergency on-call rotation that includes nights and weekends
- Availability for occasional overnight travel as assigned
- Must be able to pass a drug test and background check prior to employment, after any work or vehicular incidents, and at random during employment

- Self-motivated with the proven ability prioritize and work independently with minimal direct supervision
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant technical training, licenses, and/or certifications (i.e. CMM)
- Experience in two of the following trades:
- Plumbing
- Electrical
- HVAC
- Repair
- Painting
- Flooring
- Lighting/Plumbing repair and replacement
- Drywall
- Tile
