Period Of Performance:May 01, 2025, thru September 30, 2025 (5 months) with the potential for multiple yearlong extensions

Salary Range:$75,000 to $90,000 DOE

Project/Position Overview:

The Schedule Analyst (SA) will be responsible for creating and managing a comprehensive, integrated master schedule that captures the full scope of operations and infrastructure development at the Kennedy Space Center (KSC) for NASA's Spaceport Integration and Services (SI) Directorate. The SA will develop, integrate, and oversee the Kennedy Space Center Integrated Master Schedule (KIMS), ensuring all activities are properly aligned and tracked. This role requires close collaboration with NASA KSC stakeholders to facilitate communication and integration of technical data and milestones. The SA will directly engage with stakeholders to gather source milestone data and ensure seamless schedule integration across various projects.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide schedules and schedule analysis as required by SI/Spaceport Chief Strategist (SCS)
• Utilize standard processes, data structures and reporting conventions to plan, manage, and report the assigned work for SI/SCS schedules
• Develop, integrate, maintain, and provide detailed schedules in support of planning, risk analysis, and decision-making activities. This includes developing and maintaining the schedule interdependencies
• Create and maintain the Kennedy Space Center Integrated Master Schedule (KIMS), ensuring alignment with program goals and timelines
• Maintain and update integrated, summary-level critical path schedules for presentation at directorate and center reviews. Ensure margin is accurately displayed in the primary,secondary, and tertiary critical paths
• Integrate and analyze critical path, and external interface linked schedules from multiple sources into a single master schedule
• Perform and provide analysis of schedules based upon knowledge of government milestones, operational processing flows, and infrastructure developmental activities. Evaluate the validity of proposed schedules as well as performance to date; assess feasibility of success; identify gaps, inconsistencies, efficiencies, and risks. Evaluate critical milestones against existing schedules; identify critical path and schedule risks; and report findings of those analyses to the Government
• Develop recurring schedules to support studies. This includes special schedule “what-if” scenarios to facilitate analysis of partner business cases, alternatives, and options
• Maintain configuration control over schedule(s)
• As required, train personnel (both contractor and government personnel) in the use of the scheduling software suite
  
  

Required Education, Knowledge and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent, however, a bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Systems Engineering, Business or other related scientific or technical discipline is preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience using various scheduling software packages such as but not limited to Milestone Professional, Visual Planning, and MS Project
• Experience in schedule integration of complex operational and/or infrastructure development projects
• Proficient with the use of the Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), including Microsoft Project and Microsoft Visio
• Must hold Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP) certification experience is desired
• Candidate must be a US citizen
• Written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
• Qualified applicant must be able to pass a background check
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment
