- We are seeking an experienced Electrical Control Systems Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in electrical engineering and a strong background in industrial control and automation systems including PLC's, HMI's, and SCADA systems.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical and control systems for industrial manufacturing clients. This includes creating electrical layouts and schematics using CAD software, as well as programming PLC's and HMI systems.
Our ideal candidate will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success, develop electrical and control bill of materials, and provide field supervision during installations. Additionally, they will apply and size motors and drives, including VFD's, and identify electrical and controls equipment function and provide recommendations for upgrades.
We require a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and at least 2 years of industrial electrical/controls engineering experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD and experience with a variety of PLC & HMI software packages are preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are essential.
