What You'll Be Doing:
The purpose of the Coating Operator is to: 1) Mask, assemble, and coat electronic components, subassemblies, products, or systems per customer specifications; 2) Perform cleaning operations according to manufacturing schedules; 3) Provide and enter information pertinent to the coating process into the production documentation; and, 4) Follow company policy and procedure to ensure a safe, effective workplace.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Follow work order, production drawing and/or specification, work instruction, and/or verbal instruction.
- Prep all assemblies to customer specs. And/or PUI specifications.
- Prepares and implements masking requirements on all product assemblies and components when applicable.
- Prepare and spray coat operations on applicable assemblies.
- Performs mechanical assemblies on boards per customer requirements.
- Performs all procedures regarding coating recipes to specification.
- Maintains cleaning operations and cleanliness testing as required by PUI procedures.
- Conducts chemical inspections regularly for acceptance.
- Enter information on production documentation including records, logs, work orders, time/quantity, and other documentation completely, accurately, and correctly.
- Maintains a clean, safe work environment free of FOD.
- Perform other duties assigned.
