Job Summary:
As a Medical Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography (CT) scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures.
Responsibilities:
- Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures
- Prepare patients for exams by explaining procedures, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and develop treatment plans
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, exam results, and equipment maintenance
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
- Valid license as a radiologic technologist
- Post-primary certification in computed tomography issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- BLS preferred
