About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Mobile Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for operating x-ray equipment and taking diagnostic images of patients' bones, tissues, and organs.
Responsibilities
- Verify patient identities and review physicians' orders before beginning x-ray procedures.
- Operate x-ray equipment to take high-quality radiographic images.
- Position patients correctly, which may involve lifting and moving patients with limited mobility.
- Ensure safe and proper handling of radiologic equipment.
- Observe patient status and interpret relevant information to meet their age-specific needs.
Requirements
- Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Oklahoma license or ability to obtain prior to starting.
- 2 years of experience as an X-ray Technologist.
- Able to move or lift patients.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
