Prokatchers is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Utica, New York.

Salary : $2,700.40 / week.
Medical specialty : Cardiovascular Critical Care Unit.
Standard shift : Nights
Weekly schedule : 3x12
Shift Timings : 06 : 30 PM to 07 : 00 AM.
Number of Beds in the Unit : CTICU - 06.
Floating Required : Yes, to all units except Behavioral and ER.
Scrub Color : Navy
Common Patient Diagnosis : CV surg, Cardiogenic Shock, AAA.
Drips and Medications : Pressors- Levophed, Neo, Epi, Vasopressin,Dobutamine & Dopamine, Vasodilators- Cleviprex, Cardene, NTG ,Anti-arrhythmics- Cardizem, Amiodarone, Lido Sedation- Precedex, Propofol, Fentanyl,TPN and Insulin.
Specialty Equipment Used On-Unit : IABP, CRRT (PRISMA or NxStage) Ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, TTM (Artic Sun).
Description :
Provides specialized care to patients with severe heart conditions, such as heart attacks, heart failure, or arrhythmias.
They monitor vital signs, administer medications, and perform interventions to stabilize patients.
They collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to develop care plans and assess patient progress.
Additionally, they educate patients and families on heart health, recovery plans, and post-care instructions.
Required Skills & Experience :
Minimum 02 years' of experience required.
Education : Required Education :
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Minimum Degree Required :
Associate's Degree (Community College, MBO)
Preferred Education :
Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program
Required Certifications & Licensure :
Current NY State RN License with NURSYS Report Licenses verification required.
BLS, ACLS and NIHSS required.
