Your Mission

Prokeep is seeking a hands-on CFO who will serve as both a player-coach and a strategic thought partner to the CEO and Prokeep’s leadership. In this role, you’ll bring a mix of strategic vision and tactical execution to shape Prokeep’s finance organization, especially as we scale. With strong experience in B2B SaaS, you’ll build and analyze financial models, generate insights, and communicate financial performance to both our sales leaders and the board, ensuring data-driven decisions that fuel growth.

As an exceptional communicator, you will have the skill to translate detailed financials into actionable insights for operational leaders while maintaining an independent, board-level view ofProkeep’s financial direction. You’ll help predict where the business is headed, identify variances, and articulate the reasons behind the numbers. Experience in SaaS finance and operations is essential, especially in supporting GTM (go-to-market) teams and advising on strategic investment.

This role will report directly to the CEO and includes developing the finance organization, overseeing FP&A and strategic finance, implementing scalable financial systems, and supporting rapid revenue and team growth.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Act as a Player-Coach, rolling up your sleeves to build financial models, run analyses, and create performance scoreboards while scaling the finance team.
  • Ensure timely financial reporting (e.g. preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements), forecasts, annual and quarterly planning, budgeting, financial analysis, growth options analysis, cash management, and procurement
  • Own Cap Table management and pro forma equity modeling
  • Lead annual and quarterly planning discussions, with the ability to tie business initiatives and goals to the financial plan
  • Build and maintain a detailed financial model used to forecast future performance, report budget to actuals, and manage the capital needs of the business
  • Create KPI dashboards to track business progress and provide clarity to stakeholders on financial outcomes and trends.
  • Analyze the company's financial results - profits, trends, costs and compliance with budgets. Issue regular status and ad hoc reports to senior management
  • Partner with the CEO and other senior leaders to drive strong financial decision making around cost and growth
  • Drive decisions around product pricing with associated scenario modeling
  • Provide strategic guidance around capital financing options to support company growth needs, lead the creation of materials for future fundraising processes
  • Lead process to create Board materials and investor updates
  • Develop integrated and scalable financial systems that provide highly predictable and understandable financial results
  • Build and manage a high functioning team that enables the company to scale
  • Oversee financial operations such as payroll, subscription / billing, AR, AP, vendor oversight / pricing negotiations, etc

Qualifications

  • 10 years of experience in finance, with increasing levels of responsibility
  • 5 years of experience in a senior finance role at a fast paced SaaS organization
  • Has led venture capital financing rounds and a company exit via acquisition or IPO
  • Has worked directly with board of directors that includes institutional investors
  • Proven success developing robust financial reporting processes, financial controls, and insightful KPI dashboards necessary for a fast-moving, high growth SaaS company
  • High attention to detail with a process-oriented mindset and an ability to thrive in a hands-on environment.
  • Willingness to travel monthly to our New Orleans headquarters
