What are the responsibilities and job description for the Garage Door Technician position at ProLift Garage Doors of Portland?
Experience a plus, but not required. We are willing to provide technical training for otherwise qualified applicants.
We are looking for driven, career minded individuals looking to take charge of their own success. We can teach you the garage door trade, but we cannot teach you ambition and accountability. If you are tired of grinding away at some dead-end job or feel you will never achieve your goals in that 9-5 office role, we might be the right opportunity for you.
As a garage door technician, you will travel in a company work truck to the customer’s home to diagnose their garage door issue, build and present a quote to repair or replace the door, and either repair the door during that visit or return later and replace the door. Technicians must manage the truck, its inventory as well as their schedule and client communications.
Do you already have garage door install/repair experience and looking to join a growing company? At ProLift Garage Doors, we prioritize our employees, empower them to do what's right to create long-term relationships with clients, reward your efforts and hard work, and find fun ways to give back to the community.
