Role Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have an active PA State License or Licensure, as well as Board Certification or Eligibility. You will also be required to have experience with performing procedures such as gallbladder removals, PICC lines, appendectomies, and chest tubes. Additionally, you will need to have ACLS certification.
Work Environment
The typical day involves inpatient hospital rounding and emergency surgeries as needed. This is a low-volume hospital with an average of 0-4 cases per day. The work is performed in a fast-paced environment with varying levels of acuity. You must be able to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Support Services
We offer a range of support services on-site, including Interventional Radiology, Cardiology, Orthopedics, Urology, Hospitalists, Pediatric Hospitalists, Critical Care, and Emergency Medicine services.
Credentials and Orientation
Please allow 60-90 days for credentialing process to complete. Applications must be submitted by May 1st. Temporary privileges are available. Orientation will take approximately 2-4 hours and can be built into the day before first shift or during first shift.
