Job Description
Schedule: 24-hour call coverage from 7am to 7am. Typical day involves inpatient hospital rounding and responding to emergency surgeries.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Active PA State License or Licensure required. DEA certification also necessary. Board Status should be Board Certified or Board Eligible. Required procedures include gallbladder removal, PICC line insertion, appendectomy, and chest tube placement. ACLS certification is mandatory. Minimum one year of experience preferred.

This opportunity offers a low-volume hospital setting with average daily cases ranging from 0-4 surgeries and 0-10 patients during rounds. Providers work independently and may have access to temporary privileges. The EMR system used is Cerner/Epic. Credentialing process typically takes 60-90 days. Orientation lasts 2-4 hours and can be integrated into the first shift or preceding day.
