Job Title: NP-Hospitalist
Job Summary:
This is a PRN coverage position to cover the Hospital and Emergency Room. The ideal candidate would be a Family Medicine physician who can cover both the ER and the Hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cover 24, 48, and 72 hour shifts as needed
- Deliver high-quality patient care in both the ER and the Hospital
- Collaborate with the hospitalist team to ensure seamless patient transitions
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Family Medicine (or Board Eligible within 5 years of residency)
- Active IA license or IMLC
- BLS, ACLS, ATLS, NRP, PALS certifications
- Hospitalist experience
- Local residence (within driving distance to the facility)
Work Environment:
The facility has 25 beds and an annual ER volume of 2400. The ED staff responds to house codes and there is a code team that responds depending on the level of seriousness.
