This Applications Engineer position involves technically supporting all aspects of the Sales process for Greydon products. The ideal applicant would have an Engineering/Electronics background and have some experience of Digital inkjet printing. The role may suit someone with ambitions to move into packaging/printing machinery sales in the medium term.
Are you passionate about this work?
- Support IDT and Greydon sales process with technical expertise.
- Control and execute the sample printing process at Greydon
- Host customer visits to Greydon
- Ensure demonstration equipment is working efficiently and reliably
- Liaise with sales and internal teams to ensure deadlines for samples and quotations are met.
- Prepare proposals & quotes for prospects

- College education or proven sales experience and documented success
- Knowledge of printing and packaging industry and applications
- Computer literacy, especially with MS Office
- Ability to travel to visit prospective clients, current customers, vendors, etc.
- Self-motivated, strong desire to achieve personal, professional growth
- Strong written/verbal communication and organizational skills
- Able to operate various office equipment
