What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Support Professional position at Promising Futures, Inc.?
Promising Futures is a small non-profit located in El Cajon, CA. We provide a day program, art studio, and residential supports to adults w/disabilities specializing in Autism and Behavioral Management. We are looking for an experienced, compassionate and reliable staff member to join our day program team at our beautiful site in El Cajon, CA. You will be responsible for overseeing clients, supervision, and support to enhance their daily activities.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- One year continuous experience in a day program setting for adults w/disabilities
- Experience in collecting and analyzing data to implement and improve training programs.
- Willingness to Learn
Minimum Qualifications -
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year experience working with adults with developmental disabilities
- Experience with behaviors.
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings, including background clearance, drug, TB and a pre-employment health exam.
