What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential House Manager position at Promising Futures, Inc.?
We are looking for an experienced, compassionate and reliable House Manager with experience or specialization working with challenging behaviors to lead our team of Program Instructors at our beautiful residential home in Lakeside, CA. Your small dedicated team provides direct care and supervision to five (5) established clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a home setting! Our clients are loved and well cared for and they will welcome you into their family.
Minimum Qualifications -
- One year experience working with adults with developmental disabilities in supervisory role OR
- Five years experience as a Direct Support Professional
- Experience or specialization with behaviors
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to pass prescreening exams and background check.
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings, including LiveScan, drug, TB , agility and a pre-employment health exam.
- Valid CA Driver's License.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Experience collecting and analyzing data to implement and improve behavior treatment plans.
- Experience implementing behavior modification programs for individuals with developmental disabilities with moderate to severe behaviors.
- Experience training, coaching, and supervising staff in a similar setting.
- Practical knowledge of licensing and operational regulation.
- A relevant certification, degree, and/or applicable training.
- Computer skills.
