In aspiring to make wines at the highest level, the vineyard intern acts as the dedicated eyes and ears that connect the winegrowing team to the individual characteristics and needs of each vineyard down to the vine-level. The vineyard intern is responsible for assisting the viticulturist with the rigorous, caring, and thoughtful collection of viticulture data at all vineyard properties. They provide insights that enable the winegrowing team to continuously advance the precision and responsiveness of farming practices.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Collect data relating to phenology, irrigation, nutrition, and plant health.
- Scout vineyards for pests, disease, and plant performance.
- Collect data for vine counts and organize crop estimates.
- Support maturity sampling process during harvest.
- Engage in vineyard operations including shoot thinning, canopy management, fruit thinning, and harvest.
- Assist with special projects as needed.

Pay Transparency Disclosure : The pay scale for this position is $20-$22 per hour. These figures represent what we reasonably expect to pay for this position, but the actual compensation offered will depend upon numerous job-related factors, including but not limited to candidate qualifications, skills, experience, education, location, and alignment with market data. The Company reserves the right to modify the range in the future.
