At Dominus Estate, we are seeking a skilled Vineyard Operations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the exceptional quality of vineyard operations and grapes produced.
This role demands meticulous attention to detail, hands-on approach to vineyard management, and a commitment to precision and care. Reporting directly to the Vineyard Director, the Vineyard Operations Specialist will foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams, lead a dedicated team of vineyard monitors and interns, and emphasize quality control, innovation, and sustainability.
- Vineyard Operations and Quality Control: Maintain a daily presence in the vineyard to ensure operations meet the highest standards for grape production.
- Collaboration and Team Leadership: Collaborate closely with the Vineyard Foreman to clarify instructions, monitor execution, and verify that all tasks are performed with precision.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Viticulture, Agriculture, or related discipline and have 5 years of experience in vineyard management. They will be proficient in vineyard technology such as Sentinel, GPS, and AI-driven tools for data collection and analysis. Strong organizational and reporting skills, ability to track and manage multiple projects, and fluency in English and Spanish are also essential.
