We are looking for a Logistics and Distribution Intern interested in starting a SWEET career at our global corporate headquarters in Park Ridge, New Jersey.

Overview (provide up to 5 bullets describing the job responsibilities of the intern)

• Supporting Daily Operations: Assist (And in some instances, also lead) with the day-to-day activities, of the logistics and distribution department, which could involve tasks related to receiving, warehousing, order fulfillment, shipping, data analysis, shipment tracking and interaction with carriers and internal stakeholders.
• Transportation Coordination:  Lead or assist with coordinating transportation logistics, such as scheduling pickups and deliveries, tracking shipments, freight accruals, invoice clearances, RFPs, QBRs etc.
• Data Analysis and Reporting:  Lead or assist in collecting and analyzing data related to logistics and distribution performance and preparing reports, dashboards and providing insights.
• Project Support: Lead or assist with special projects related to logistics and distribution, such as implementing new systems or processes, or any continuous improvement project.
• Communication: Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, stakeholders and carriers.
• Hand-on Experience: Interns will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects and gain practical experience in logistics and distribution
• Networking: Interns will have the opportunity to network with professionals in the field and learn about career opportunities.
• Mentorship: Interns will be paired with experienced professionals who provide guidance and support.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Rising Junior/Senior in college/university, pursuing bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or related field 

• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better 

• Strong business acumen and analytical ability 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and organization skills
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships

• Effective problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated and bias for action

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

• Demonstrated personal and professional values

Required Skills/Experience:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.  Strong Excel skills (At least a 6-7 on a 1-10 scale)

• Have access to housing and reliable transportation
• Able to work a 40-hour week, beginning June 2^nd, 2025
• Must be able to work in the office Monday thru Thursday; Friday’s, you would be in the office once a month.

• Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain attention to detail.
• Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) or other logistics software or ERP systems (SAP etc.)
• Knowledge of and passion for the specific business you are interested in at PIM Brands  
• Strong passion for and knowledge of the Food and CPG industry
• Leadership experience on or off campus
