Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team within our Norwood, NJ operations. The Logistics Coordinator will ensure that all aspects of domestic logistics operations are managed effectively from order process to shipping, and collaborating with cross-functional teams, the Logistics Coordinator plays a vital role in maintaining efficient shipping operations. This position also requires a strong focus on coordinating processes to achieve the effective distribution of goods.
The ideal candidate will have great record-keeping abilities and a customer-orientated approach. The goal is to ensure the smooth operations of a variety of channels aiming for maximum efficiency.

Essential Functions / General Accountabilities
Managing the flow of Hazardous as well as Non-Hazardous chemicals, overseeing all aspects of shipment coordination, collaborating with Customer Service teams in order process, transportation arrangements, and delivery tracking, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of shipping and receiving, ensuring shipments are picked up by the specified carrier according to guidelines and safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with internal shipping and receiving procedures, safety guidelines, and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Maintain an adequate supply of shipping materials and packaging materials to support daily logistics operations.
- Track and record all shipping activities, costs, and related information in the appropriate database.
- Responding to customer inquiries and referring clients to the proper channels
- Reviewing purchase orders for shipping documents to ensure accuracy
- Making special shipping arrangements as necessary
- Tracking and fixing shipping errors
- Ensuring that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards
- Communicate with carriers regarding service levels.
- Work closely with other Logistics team members to harmonize activities, share best practices, and ensure smooth operations across the site.
- Provide and assist continuous support to Site Administrators, the Facility Operations Manager, and the Facility Site Lead on logistics-related matters.
- Respond to shipping complaints, lost items, damages.
- Assist Coordination of Domestic outbound shipments across multiple locations
- Work with carrier and third-party services
- Ensure shipping carrier requirements and regulations are met.
- Track shipments details, locations, ETAs.
- Work with manager and team members to implement new strategies and initiatives.
