PromptCare is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Assistant/Coordinator to support our Human Resources department. The ideal candidate will assist in various HR functions, including new hire onboarding support, employee records, audits, and general administrative tasks, contributing to a positive workplace environment. Reports to: Human Resources Compliance Manager
Job Type: Full-Time, hybrid schedule, Mon-Friday 30-40 hours per week
Job Location: New Providence, NJ
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Previous experience in an HR role is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software
- At minimum 1-2 years of experience in related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Responsibilities, included but not limited to:
- Completes all post-employment documentation, payroll documents and 1-9 verification process to Paylocity
- Provides assistance with the on-boarding of new employees (i.e., new hire communications, onboarding; training follow-ups as needed, 90-day reviews)
- Create tasks in the HRIS system as needed
- Provides occupation health screening for all employees with direct patient care
- Assists in collecting all appropriate documentation at orientation and scans all documents to the electronic personnel records
- Understand and follow PromptCare’s employee policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
