Position: Data Analytics Manager – Power BI Focus
Location: Wilmington, DE (Onsite – 4 days per week)

We are looking for an experienced Data Analytics Manager with a strong foundation in Power BI and data engineering to lead the successful delivery of analytics initiatives. This role combines team leadership with hands-on development, and is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, data-rich environments—especially within the pharmaceutical sector.
Core Requirements:
- Proven leadership in managing technical delivery teams
- Deep expertise in Power BI and Microsoft Fabric
- Proficiency in PySpark for big data processing
- Experience working with TMDL (Tabular Model Definition Language)
- Background in the pharma or life sciences industry
- Active presence on LinkedIn
Role Responsibilities:
- Direct and coordinate teams of BI developers and data engineers to ensure on-time and high-quality project delivery
- Architect and maintain advanced Power BI reporting solutions and dashboards
- Shape the direction of data visualizations and models to provide actionable business insights
- Collaborate with engineering teams to refine data pipelines and enhance Power BI integration using PySpark
- Optimize dashboard performance using tools like DAX Studio, Tabular Editor, ALM Toolkit, and capacity analytics
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for version control and deployment using Git
- Champion the adoption of new Power BI functionalities, including integration of external tools and use of TMDL
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify needs and deliver tailored analytics solutions
- Monitor and resolve issues related to Power BI reporting and infrastructure to ensure system stability
Required Experience & Skills:
- Significant hands-on experience in Power BI development and administration
- Prior leadership experience in BI or data-focused projects
- Strong knowledge of data processing frameworks, especially using PySpark
- Skilled in tuning Power BI for performance and large-scale implementation
- Familiarity with enterprise data environments and advanced data modeling
- Understanding of version control systems (Git) and automated deployment practices
- Exposure to TMDL and third-party Power BI tools is highly desirable
Nice to Have:
- Experience working in large, enterprise BI ecosystems
- Expertise with various Power BI data connectivity modes like Direct Query and Direct Lake
- Comfortable working in high-demand, consulting-driven environments
