Job Summary

We're looking for a motivated and results-driven Account Executive to help grow our business and build strong customer relationships. In this role, you'll be responsible for hitting (and exceeding!) sales targets, identifying new opportunities, and staying on top of industry trends to keep us ahead of the curve.

Your day-to-day will include managing the sales pipeline in HubSpot, delivering engaging sales presentations, and keeping leadership in the loop with regular forecasts and updates. You’ll also help design and run sales campaigns, drive outbound business development, and maintain a strong professional presence on LinkedIn and other platforms. Plus, you’ll get to attend industry events, build connections, and work closely with our marketing, program management, and farm services teams to ensure customers have the best possible experience.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) for assigned accounts

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to identify potential risks and opportunities

  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to customers, effectively communicating the value proposition of our products/services

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of account activities, sales pipeline, and customer interactions using Hubspot

  • Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates to the management team

  • Perform outbound business development activities to increase top of funnel qualified leads

  • Support the design & implementation of new sales campaigns to increase top of funnel qualified leads and downstream business opportunities

  • Maintain professional presence on LinkedIn and other social media channels as a representative of Propagate and its mission and vision

  • Identify, register, and participate in conferences and other event opportunities where relevant

  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing, program management, and farm services, to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction

Job Requirements

  • Frequently working at a desk and sitting for long periods of time

  • Continual use of computer, including long periods of viewing a screen

  • Frequent attendance and participation in virtual meetings

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of demonstrable experience with leading sales efforts

  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen to navigate complex sales environments

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholder groups

  • Robust negotiation and closing skills

  • Ability to work autonomously and initiate prospecting efforts

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience at a high-growth start-up

  • Prior experience in agriculture, soil science, carbon markets, land use, MRV, and similar fields

  • Familiarity with CRM/pipeline systems (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce)

  • Founder Interview: 30-minute Zoom with our CEO & founder, Ethan Steinberg

Salary: Depending on the level that you come in as, your experience and expertise, we are able to offer an annual salary between $85,000 - $100,000 USD Equity, with total On Target Earnings (OTE) at $140,000.
