Job Title: Litigation Paralegal (Personal Injury Law)
Location: Los Angeles, CA (On-Site)
Work Schedule: Full-Time; Monday-Friday
Pay Range: $65,000 - $85,000 annually DOE
We are a growing personal injury law firm in Los Angeles, CA with a close-knit team supporting an attorney who prioritizes collaboration and expert client service looking for a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Litigation Paralegal with 2 years of personal injury experience to join our plaintiff-side practice.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in managing the discovery process by drafting interrogatories, requests for production, and subpoenas in a timely manner
• Review and analyze documents produced by opposing counsel
• Organize and prepare documents for production
• Monitor and track deadlines, court dates, and other important timelines using Filevine
• Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel to support case development and resolution
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses
• Prepare witness statements and deposition summaries
• Organize and index documents for review and production
• Conduct legal research using online databases and other resources
• Analyze case law, statutes, and regulations to support legal arguments
• Summarize research findings to inform attorneys’ case strategies
• Assist in calculating potential settlements and preparing settlement agreements
• Coordinate with experts and witnesses as needed
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of personal injury law firm experience required
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required (speaking, reading, writing)
- Knowledge of California civil procedure and local court rules
- Experience with drafting and filing legal documents
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience with Filevine highly preferred
- A bachelor's degree or an equivalent preferred
- Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program or equivalent preferred
