Our client, a local non-profit organization, is seeking an experienced and proactive Administrative Assistant with a solid background in payroll to support day-to-day operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Manage and organize employee personnel files as part of an ongoing filing project.
Assist with employment verifications, timecards, payroll processing, and scheduling interviews.
Maintain and update various spreadsheets related to payroll, timekeeping, and employee data.
Provide administrative support in accounts receivable (A / R) and accounts payable (A / P) when needed.
Support the HR and payroll teams with other tasks as necessary.
Requirements :
Proven experience in administrative assistance, with a focus on payroll.
Experience with TriNet HR / Payroll platform is preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and spreadsheets.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Monday - Friday
Pay = $24-26 / hr (DOE)
Salary : $24 - $26
