**Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and upgrades. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems. **Responsibilities:** - Conduct routine maintenance on all facilities, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems - Perform repairs and upgrades as necessary to ensure optimal facility performance - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems - Utilize schematics and logic controllers to diagnose and fix problems - Fabricate and weld parts as needed - Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests and ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard - Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines - Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and codes - Collaborate with other members of the maintenance team to achieve facility maintenance goals - Perform residential painting tasks as required - Utilize a variety of tools, including hand and power tools, to complete maintenance tasks - Develop and implement a maintenance schedule to ensure all facilities are properly maintained - Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential issues before they become major problems - Provide detailed reports on all maintenance activities and repairs - Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of facility systems and equipment **Skills:** - Proven experience in facilities maintenance - Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems - Ability to read and understand schematics - Experience with logic controllers and their applications - Skilled in welding and fabrication - Experience with residential painting - Excellent customer service skills - Strong organizational and communication skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Familiarity with safety protocols and guidelines - Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and supplies - High school diploma or equivalent required - Post-secondary education in a related field is an asset.
This is a 1099 Position.
Pay can increase based on skill.
