Position Overview
Since our start in 2010, Property Pros Land Management, LLC has become the premier Landscape Design and Build firm in the area, with a stellar reputation in the Indianapolis community. Based out of Fortville, Property Pros services all of central Indiana with their landscape maintenance and outdoor design needs. While working with a team of 1-3 employees, this position provides landscape maintenance services, including mowing, mulching, trimming, pruning, weeding, edging, blowing, leaf removal, plant installation, and watering. Suitable candidates will have a self-starter mentality, with the willingness to work with their team to get jobs completed on time and in an efficient manner. Candidates will strive to meet the highest quality standards and represent the company to the highest degree.
Essential Responsibilities for Crew Members
- Completing all assigned projects as scheduled with the assistance of 1-3 team members, and working with their Crew Leader to meet all production goals for the team, while maintaining a very high level of job quality.
- Providing landscape maintenance services, including mowing, mulching, trimming, pruning, weeding, edging, blowing, leaf removal, plant installation, watering, etc.
- Following the Property Pros: Standards of Process to ensure the proper installation techniques.
- Operating and understanding all tools and machinery used by our production team. Possibly operating non-CDL automatic and stick-shift vehicles, including vans, dump trucks, and truck/trailer combinations.
- Cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment. Being responsible for the security and well-being of the tools and equipment assigned to the team.
- Properly caring for the plant nursery at the shop.
- Helping to keep an accurate inventory of commonly used items housed in our shop.
- Following all company policies and procedures outlined within the Employee Handbook.
- Aiding in snow removal, when called upon.
- Completing any other duties, as assigned.
Knowledge and Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in landscape maintenance
- Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to read and write
- Self-motivated, with the ambition and willingness to take initiative
- Highly organized and able to follow processes
- Ability to operate trucks and trailers, as well as large non-CDL straight trucks and vans proficiently and safely
Certifications and Licenses
- Valid driver’s license
