Junior System Administrator

Propet Footwear is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Systems Administrator to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining and supporting our current technical infrastructure, providing end-user support, and serving as backup support for our senior developer. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in IT systems and demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow within our dynamic environment. 

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure, including O365, NetSuite, Azure, Active Directory and VoIP(8x8).

· Provide end-user technical support, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.

· Administer a small, two host VMWare environment.

· Implement and manage data backup strategies to ensure business continuity.

· Support IT operations using ITIL methodology to streamline and improve processes.

· Collaborate with the senior developer to provide backup support for development-related tasks.

· Monitor system performance and security, identifying and addressing potential vulnerabilities.

· Document processes, configurations, and procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and operational consistency.

Required Qualifications:

· Proficiency in Microsoft O365, NetSuite, Azure, and Active Directory.

· Experience with VMWare administration.

· Knowledge of data backup strategies and ITIL methodology.

· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

· A team-oriented attitude and a proactive approach to tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience with Power BI and SQL.

· Interest or experience in coding and development.

· Previous experience in a similar role.

Work Environment: This is an on-site position located in Auburn, WA. The candidate must be able to commute to the office daily and work collaboratively with the team.
