About the Job
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide exceptional care in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional nursing care, including conducting health assessments and promoting wellness practices.
- Dispense medications and administer treatments in alignment with established guidelines.
- Record residents' health data accurately and share updates as needed.
- Identify and manage urgent medical conditions by implementing necessary interventions or arranging referrals.
- Act as the primary responder during medical or behavioral crises.
- Ensure accurate and thorough maintenance of medical records.
- Respond effectively to emergencies involving aggressive or challenging behavioral situations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing.
- Completed dementia care training is a plus.
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Massachusetts.
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.
