Position: Mobile X-Ray Technician

Pay: $62,400/year
Experience: Previous experience in radiologic imaging is preferred; mobile X-ray experience is a plus.

- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Active ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification and state licensure as required.
Type: Full-time or Part-time; Direct Hire
Schedule: Weekend Shift, 8 am-midnight with overnight call.
ProRecruiters is seeking a Mobile X-Ray Technician to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description:
- Perform X-ray imaging procedures on patients using mobile radiology equipment.
- Travel to various healthcare facilities or patient locations to provide diagnostic services.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging while ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Operate and maintain mobile radiology equipment, ensuring it is functioning properly.
- Implement and adhere to radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure to patients, healthcare providers, and yourself.
- Set up temporary barriers as needed to control radiation exposure in non-traditional environments.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to obtain high-quality images for diagnostic interpretation.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including imaging documentation and equipment logs.
- Provide excellent patient care and ensure a professional and compassionate bedside manner.
Position Requirements:
- Strong understanding of radiation safety principles and protocols.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to diverse healthcare settings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel between locations.
- Ability to lift and transport mobile radiology equipment.
- Comfortable working in various environments, including patient homes, long-term care facilities, and clinics.
- Capacity to stand, bend, and move for extended periods during imaging procedures.
