Job Description
We are in search of an experienced Service Manager to oversee a dedicated team of diesel mechanics repairing commercial heavy-duty vehicles.
As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the diesel repair shop. Your primary duties will include managing the service team, ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, and driving performance across key metrics.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee and manage the service department, including scheduling, staffing, and workflow management.
- Ensure all repairs and maintenance are performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide leadership, training, and support to service technicians, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Communicate effectively with customers, addressing their concerns and providing accurate estimates for repairs and maintenance.
- Monitor shop operations, including inventory management, and ordering parts as needed.
- Implement strategies to improve service efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of all service activities, including work orders, vendor invoices, and customer interactions.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations.
